Although my lifelong background in the Arts was in painting, printmaking, drawing and calligraphy I finally realized I had never been completely comfortable with 2-dimensional surfaces.
In 1996, my daughter convinced me to take a clay class and found clay to be the perfect 3-dimensional surface on which I could draw, paint, incise and carve.
Each piece I create challenges my skill, ability, and creativity. The entire process keeps me energized, inspired and excited to spend absurdly long hours in my studio.
The glazes on all my functional ware are durable, lead free, food and dishwasher safe.
My greatest hope is that you enjoy my pottery as much as I enjoy creating it.
