Summer Tour - now a Virtual Event!

As of July 21, 2020, we cancelled the outdoor Summer Studio Tour (Aug. 7-9) and transformed to a virtual event online that’s available throughout August. Check out the Artist’s Spotlight page, featuring selected artworks for sale by our Summer Tour artists. Stay connected and enjoy the original hand-crafted artwork from our Pacific Northwest artists!

Our Winter Studio Tour (Dec. 4-6) will also be a virtual online event. We are in the planning stages now, with additional features such as:

  • Featured Artists – a weekly look behind the scenes at artists, in their studios, with works in progress, and short interviews
  • News & Events – a calendar with Tour artist events, gallery shows, teaching links, exhibition listings, new releases, etc.
  • Customer’s Gallery – a photo gallery of customers’ Tour art, showing where Tour art ends up! Pottery, jewelry, paintings, anything you purchased at the Studio Tour.
(If you wish to submit a photo, send a jpg to info@bistudiotour.com. Your name will not be posted. You can be in the photo of course, but the artwork should be obvious in the photo, and has to be Studio Tour artwork and appropriate for public viewing.)

Thank you so much for your positive energy and support. We really love our Studio Tour fans!

Summer Tour - now a Virtual Event!
Winter: December 4-6 hours: Fri, Sat & Sun: 10-5

The Bainbridge Island Studio Tour invites you to celebrate the beauty and craftsmanship of local, handmade art. We are a twice-annual, free, self-guided art show on Bainbridge Island, Washington – located in the beautiful Puget Sound, just a 30-minute ferry ride from Seattle. Surrounded by water and picturesque views, Bainbridge Island is known for quaint shops, restaurants, bed and breakfasts, and an abundance of art and artists. The Studio Tour has enjoyed great success since 1984, and we hope you’ll experience it for yourself soon!

Regional artists jury in to the summer and winter art shows, and sell their work at Island artists’ studios and historic community halls. When you visit the studios, you’ll see some works in progress, raw materials, tools, and perhaps some inspiration mixed in with a little sawdust.

We’re sure you’ll enjoy meeting the artists and discussing their work and vision in person. By visiting and shopping at the Tour, you are not only buying hand-crafted works of art, you are also supporting the local economy and helping artists to thrive.
